About Us
Clarke Consulting was founded by Matthew W. Clarke in 1997, and since that time has provided IT systems integration and consulting services to hundreds of San Francisco Bay Area businesses.
Mr. Clarke holds a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, as well as several industry certifications. In addition, Mr. Clarke has over 20 years of experience as a technology consultant and serves as both a project manager and individual contributor in Clarke Consulting's team of experienced technology professionals. Mr. Clarke also makes a point of being personally available to the management team at every client business.
Clarke Consulting recruits, hires, and trains its staff locally in the San Francisco Bay Area. All potential staff members must have a minimum of 2 years of IT experience before being considered for entry level positions on our staff. Our current staff comprises primarily FTE system admins, with broad experience in Cisco, Network Appliance, Microsoft, and VMWare technologies. Our senior staff members have years of experience managing IT infrastructures, from the initial buildout of the first server room to large datacenters and implementation of enterprise technologies. We have worked with small "virtual" companies, large corporations spanning the entire globe, and every size company between. We are experienced with a variety of corporate phases, including rapid growth, planned stable maintenance, efficiency and cost-cutting efforts, and "keep-the-lights-on" approaches.
Clarke Consulting is most well known for its industry experience within the local Biotech Community, but Clarke Consulting as a business focuses on technical problems which are broadly applicable to other industries. Some of the many industries we have served include:
